Prabhavat has built a team focusing on Mobile applications based on Java Platform Micro Edition (Java ME) platform.

Prabhavat team’s experience with Java ME includes creation of MIDLet based applications with the usage of MIDP user interface API from lcdui package, location API, data persistence on the device using RecordStore, and data exchange with the internet servers using HttpConnection interface.

Our team has chosen to focus on Java ME for building mobile applications because of its support on wide range of mobile devices. Java ME provides a robust, flexible environment for applications running on mobile and other embedded devices—mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), TV set-top boxes, and printers. Java ME includes flexible user interfaces, robust security, built-in network protocols, and support for networked and offline applications that can be downloaded dynamically. Applications based on Java ME are portable across many devices, yet leverage each device's native capabilities.
